Fairly clean hotel with respectful staff and exceptional food. Magnificent location relatively close to Cannery Beach. Close enough to beach, marina and Solmar. Nice bar area. Excellent service and great value.

Cool place, it was spotless and had genuinely friendly and excellent staff from the wonderful waiters. The food was fabulous and the location was amazing. Downtown Cabo San Lucas district was worth staying in.

The staff at Solmar Resort were friendly. The spacious layout of the grounds allowed easy navigation for seniors, with lovely views of the ocean and well-maintained gardens enhancing the atmosphere.
More comfortable seating options in public areas.

Great quite beach. Located close to truly class properties.....where I will stay next time.
I am disappointed that they use this to almost force you to attend a timeshare presentation - a true bait and switch. Also was not informed of the construction / noise. Will never return and will not reccomend. The "all-inclusive" rules are also a joke. Your website does not show a correct picture (from the beach) of the property. Fraud!

staff is very friendly, especially the bell boys and valet parking, helpful.
We went with a group of 7 people, we booked two rooms & we arrived at check-in they only had one and other would not be available until the next day, so book early! They sent us to the hotel as soon as we were in the room! I didn't like the fact that we had to go and settle in and then come back. Then they wanted me to vacate the room at the hotel at 8:00 am & go to Solmar and leave my bags in charge! I objected, we agreed that I would return to Solmar at 1:00pm and they would have both rooms ready for me that should have been delivered the day before, I arrived on time and only one room was ready again! That was a total displeasure! They never offered any reward for what happened or anything, as they gave us a bigger room than the one we booked but I was done the same thing. pool and jacuzzi close at 9:00pm, rooms don't look like they do in the picture, well they are passable :). hotel has a very nice beach, for safety reasons you can't swim in the open sea, before booking I checked in at the hotel and they told me I could walk for about 5 minutes to the beach, they never said I would have to climb some rocks to get there. we didn't, it looked too risky, you have to take a little boat to get there and they charge $150 pesos per person.

The activity organization is a mess!!! The power outage was not communicated properly, leaving us in the dark without emergency lighting!!!

food is very good, especially the Tejaban and sushi bar. clean everything, great staff, clean pools, good drinks and bar service is very efficient. It is a quiet hotel, perfect for resting and relaxing. transportation service is punctual and safe. location allows you to walk to the malecon in about 10 minutes which is very good.
The sofa bed is very uncomfortable, they never left enough towels for the pool in the room (they left less than one per person), the Tejaban restaurant says it closes at 10 pm but actually they stop serving from 9 pm which is very bad because we didn't have dinner the first day despite having an all-inclusive package and arriving before 10 pm to order a table. We had problems with the installation of the room on one occasion and it took more than 30 minutes to solve them, we had to call the reception several times . It is important to emphasize that there is NO access to the sea (it is prohibited by security, which is not a problem for the hotel) BUT you are not notified until you are there; they should put it on their page before making a reservation.

I really loved the all-inclusive food options, especially the amazing sashimi and tasty quesadillas! The cozy charm of our room made it a relaxing escape. However, the pictures didn’t match our room's details at all.

The staff treated me like family. My suite had fine ocean views and was comfortably clean. The pools were great, especially the upper pool by the snack bar, where Danny's service stood out. The themed night dinners were fun, particularly the Mexican Fiesta with its variety of dishes. The location was perfect, just a stroll to the marina. I would have liked the air conditioning to be a bit cooler. The set temperature was too warm for my liking. The sofa bed was quite uncomfortable.

It was as expected, had a very special stay for 2 nights. Everything was absolutely great, so were incredible views of the ocean and the pool. The hotel was in an excellent location, in the ocean because of the under tow. I tried some drinks at bar Baja Cantina, located 20 minutes walk away.

Perfect for a quiet getaway
This place is super calm and perfect for a relaxing vacay! The food here is worth every penny -- trust me, you have to try the coconut shrimp and those tacos from the Palapa Grill, unbelievable!
It's not exactly cheap either,,, but still acceptable.

great service but limited swimming options
The smaller size of the resort made it easy to navigate. Staff were personable and provided attentive service throughout our stay.
If you want ocean swimming this isn't the resort for you.
